Diving is cheap in Taganga and a lot of travelers comes here to do PADI, NAUI or CMAS diving courses. I did so too. With my first trip I did my NAUI OpenWater and Advanced OpenWater courses. In this trip I did couple more (Rescue, Divemaster and Assistan instructor) and became professonal diver and were working as a divemaster for Diva Escuela de buceo. It's a good way to get living.

Course fees were following: OWD $150, OAWD $150, Rescue $170, Divemaster $500 and AI $170

Most of the instructors are fellow travellers who travel around the world and dive for living. It's something I'll might do as fulltime job in the future. Time will show.

The best divespots are: Oceano, Paso de Angel (Drift dive), El Cantil (wall) and the lighthouse.

Dive Centers: Diva, Tayrona, Poseidon, Ser Buzo, Oceano
